From Hume Region gold to the big stage in Melbourne! 14 of our finest GSSC athletes hit the track at Lakeside Stadium for the School Sport Victoria Championships, bringing home an incredible haul of medals!
Congratulations to our very own Lucy Potter, who competed in the 17 years 100m, 200m and 400m events. We are proud to announce that Lucy is now the 2025 School Sport Victoria State 400m Champion, taking out the title with an impressive time of 1:00.00! She also claimed silver in the 200m event. An outstanding achievement. Congratulations, Lucy!
Other outstanding performances included Ellie Robinson and Shalom Sasa. Ellie competed in the 15 years shot put, winning silver with a throw of 11.04m. Shalom competed in the 18-20 years discus, shot put & javelin, securing bronze in the discus with a throw of 18.15m. Amazing results by both girls!
