Earlier this term, our Year 7 students participated in a workshop delivered by PROJECT ROCKIT , a youth-driven organisation dedicated to building kindness, respect and inclusion both online and offline.

The workshop inculded two major points. The first, RALLY, empowers students to create a culture that challenges bullying in all forms. Through interactive activities and real-life scenarios, students were equipped with socially credible strategies to take action and stand united, rather than standing by.
The big idea: “Every single one of us can choose to be part of the solution when it comes to tackling bullying, even in the smallest and simplest ways.”

The second point, CONNECT, explored the positive potential of technology. Students developed online skills to build connected communities, support wellbeing, and navigate harmful digital experiences.
The big idea: “Every choice you make online has an impact, so the impact you make is up to you.”

The sessions encouraged students to reflect on their role in shaping safe, supportive, and empowering environments , both in person and online. PROJECT ROCKIT’s relatable facilitators and hands-on approach made the sessions both meaningful and memorable for all involved.
