2025 Parent, Caregiver or Guardian Opinion Survey

Our school is conducting the annual Parent, Caregiver or Guardian Opinion Survey offered by the Department of Education and is seeking your feedback. The survey is designed to assist the school in gaining an understanding of families’ perceptions of school climate, student behavior, and student engagement. The survey is optional, but we encourage and appreciate your participation.

 

Our school will use the survey results to assist in identifying areas for improvement and professional development needs in the school, to target school planning and improvement strategies.

A random sample of parents, caregivers or guardians will be selected to participate in this year’s survey. An email with details for those who are randomly selected will be sent on Monday 18 August with instructions enabling you to complete the survey. If you have not been selected to participate in the survey and would like to do so please email the college on This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Please indicate by putting opinion survey in the subject line.

 

The survey will be conducted online, only takes 20 minutes to complete, and can be accessed at any convenient time on desktop computers, laptops, tablets or smartphones.

The online survey will be available in English, Arabic, and 9 other languages. Resources are also available in additional languages to assist parents, caregivers or guardians who speak a language other than English at home. We are currently setting up a process for you to access them remotely either via Compass or the school website.

 

The survey results will be communicated to parents, caregivers or guardians at school council and published in the annual report. As a result of last years Parent, Caregiver or Guardian opinion survey we focused on improving our student reporting in particular Student Engagement Conferences.
